Scott met with us to show and discuss with
us the first set of various options that he designed. We looked over
them with him and took them home to discuss together. Here is our
favorite set of plans that Scott drew as well as our suggestions and
additional ideas.

Our modifications and additional ideas:
- laundry
room moved into garage with an outside entrance. If necessary,
lengthen garage. This allows the kitchen to be larger and a pantry
closet to be incorporated into the kitchen
- kitchen will be
larger and contain a pantry closet. Please add an island with
no appliances to the center of the kitchen
- add
a "communication center" near the half bath
- no
step leading into the great room
- no
half wall between the stairs and the great room and no open to
below/high ceiling in the foyer entrance. Use the available space
in the master suite for an additional closet or whatever
- no
built-in bookcase/entertainment center in the great room at this
time...to allow for more flexibility in placement of a big screen
tv, etc.
- use some of the
area in the corner of the foyer entrance for a coat closet
- is
there going to be an attic or space over the garage like in the
Tinsman home?
- possibly move
the master suite door to the end of the hallway allowing for a
king size bed to be placed more comfortably into the corner (12
foot) section of the master suite
