Midterm Assignment
1. Do the "Excel Project 4 - Lab Test A" assignment. The teacher will give a handout that explains the full specifications. Additional specifications and modifications are listed below. Make sure that you save the resulting file as "Lab Test A - Excel Proect 4" in your network folder. (In the course of doing the assignment, you will also be saving an Excel template file as "Lab Test A - Excel Project 4 - Template".) The teacher must be able to find the appropriately named file in your network folder in case he decides to grade that electronic file. However, you must hand in the four stapled pages of printouts by the due date (Friday, 1/15).
Excel Project 4 - Lab Test A Modifications:
In step #1, make the width of column B = 10.57, not 10.00.
In step #1, if you cannot find the Brush Script font, use Arial.
You do not have to use a fill the background of rows 2 and 12 as it appears the on the posted answer key.
In step #5, when you make the 3-D Pie chart, do not include a legend and for data labels show the data & percent.
In step #5, rearrange the data labels so that they can be easily read.
Make sure that you update the month names in the first row title for the 2nd through 4th quarters sheets.
Do not do steps #17-19.
2. Do the "Excel Project 3 - Lab Test A" assignment. The teacher will give a handout that explains the full specifications. Additional specifications and modifications are listed below. Make sure that you save the resulting file as "Lab Test A - Excel Proect 3" in your network folder. The teacher must be able to find the appropriately named file in your network folder in case he decides to grade that electronic file. However, you must hand in the four stapled pages of printouts by the due date (Friday, 1/15).
Excel Project 3 - Lab Test A Modifications:
You must hand in 4 printouts (stapled together) at the end of this assignment. You need to print the formulas version in landscape orientation (see step #17), both sheets including Credit Chart and Anaylsis in Part 2, step #6, and the revised Analysis sheet in Part 3, step #5.
In Part 1, step #4, use the shade of blue that is found in column 6, row 3 of the Color palette, not in column 5, row 3 as the handout indicates.
In Part 1, step #10, change the width of columns B through G to 10.57, not 10.56.
