This course will explore foundation-level skills and techniques used in effective Web page design. Students will be instructed in the elements of design and layout with a focus on industry's best current practices. Topics will include site architecture and navigation, effective use of colors, Web typography, and how to capture and modify Web graphics. This course will also focus on skills and techniques used to apply multimedia to Web page design. Students will learn the effective presentation of audio, video, and graphics in Web site design.
