Competition Rules:

    Each robot must be mostly code written by the programmer (i.e. not more than 10% of any single robot from a robot programmed by someone else.)

    Initially all robots rumbled for 5 rounds in a 1000 x 1000 battleground. The top 8 robots were seeded into a double elimination tournament bracket for one-on-one matches. Each one-on-one match consisted of 3 rounds.
