Project #1

Download the source for a game or an interesting component that would be used in a Web site from a web site like kirupa.com or flashkit.com. Make a significant modification to the source and demonstrate it to the class along with the original movie.

Project #2

This project will be a Flash .swf file that must make use of 8 or more of the following elements and techniques:

• motion tweening
• shape tweening
• motion guide
• 2 or more instances of the same symbol
• button symbol and its on release event
• advanced ActionScript commands (e.g. if else, while, etc.)
• sound
• 2 or more scenes
• mask layer
• nested movie clips
• input text box
• dynamic text box
• external hyperlinks and getUrl
